Hierarchy of human needs

Are you able to move up the triangle of needs ?

Where are you now on the triangle?

Every person experiences their life differently-from the outside looking in it can appear (for example) that a person who has lots of money and a safe place to live is happy and safe and yet that person in reality may feel very unsafe/anxious/depressed/lonely.

Conversley a person may struggle to pay the rent and feed themselves. To an observer they may appear to have a harsh life and yet that person may feel in reality secure and happy.

People recognise financial poverty for what it is - debilitating and life threatening - but emotional poverty is overlooked and a life rich in self -esteem and free of trauma is undervalued in a westernised culture.
